This seven-day journey from Marrakech into the Sahara and back is designed as a relaxed exploration of Morocco’s southern valleys, gorges, and desert landscapes. Travel across the High Atlas Mountains, through ancient earthen villages, and into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi before returning along the historic Draa Valley caravan route.
The experience focuses on authentic local encounters, including a hike through the Monkey Fingers rock formations, tea with a nomadic family, Gnawa music in the desert, and a home-cooked meal with an Amazigh family. Nights are spent in traditional guesthouses and a desert camp beneath the stars, offering a comfortable and culturally rich desert journey.
