MOROCCO CRAFT JOURNEYS
Clay, Wool & Fire
Private and small-group artisan journeys through Morocco’s living craft traditions.
Our Morocco craft tours explore the country through its living artisan traditions, including pottery, weaving, woodworking, textiles, and earth-based arts. These journeys offer a slower, more personal way to experience Morocco through the people who make it.
Rather than moving quickly from landmark to landmark, our itineraries focus on workshops, rural communities, and creative encounters, balanced with scenic drives, historic towns, desert landscapes, and time to experience local life at a more thoughtful pace.

Meet Morocco’s Makers
Craft in Morocco is part of everyday life. Skills are passed through generations, shaped by local materials, and sustained within families, workshops, and cooperatives.
Our journeys visit artisans in the places where they work, giving travelers the opportunity to observe, learn, and sometimes participate in the processes behind Morocco’s pottery, textiles, woodwork, and other traditional crafts.

Morocco Craft Tour FAQs
01
Are these Morocco craft tours private or small group?
We offer both private and selected small-group artisan journeys. Private trips are highly customizable, while small-group departures keep the experience intimate and culturally focused.
02
Do I need artistic experience to join?
No. These journeys are designed for curious travelers, not professional artists. Some visits are observational, while others may include demonstrations or hands-on participation.
03
Are the artisan visits shopping stops?
Many of the artisans and cooperatives we visit also sell the work they make, so guests often have the opportunity to purchase directly from them if they wish. Buying is always optional, and Amazigh Artisan Tours does not receive commissions from purchases. The focus of these visits is on meeting the makers, learning about their techniques and traditions, and understanding the work behind the objects
04
Can I participate in the workshops?
In some locations, yes. Participation depends on the artisan, the craft, and the itinerary.
