Yassine

Yassine is the co-founder of Amazigh Artisan Tours and a Morocco journey designer and guide. Raised in an Amazigh family in the Atlas Mountains near the Dades region, he grew up with a strong connection to the landscapes, traditions, and communities that continue to shape the journeys he creates today.

He spent many years working as a driver and guide throughout Morocco, developing extensive knowledge of the country’s cities, mountain regions, desert routes, and local cultures. Over time, he also built lasting relationships with artisans, hosts, and communities across Morocco, connections that allow travelers to experience places in a more personal and meaningful way.

Yassine speaks Tamazight, Arabic, English, French, and Spanish. He co-founded Amazigh Artisan Tours to create journeys that go beyond conventional sightseeing, combining thoughtful travel with genuine cultural exchange, local craftsmanship, and the people who keep Morocco’s traditions alive.

Beatle

Beatle is the co-founder and creative director of Amazigh Artisan Tours. An artist, teacher, and designer from the United States, they first came to know Morocco through travel and were especially drawn to the depth of Amazigh culture, the country’s artistic traditions, and the relationships that give each region its character.

After meeting Yassine while traveling in Morocco, the two went on to build Amazigh Artisan Tours together. Beatle helps shape the company’s visual identity, storytelling, and cultural approach, with a particular interest in traditional craftsmanship and the people who keep those skills alive.

Their role is focused on creating journeys that feel thoughtful, personal, and connected to place. Working closely with Yassine, Beatle helps develop experiences that move beyond surface-level sightseeing and give travelers more opportunities to engage with Morocco through its artisans, communities, landscapes, and living traditions.

Hakim

Hakim is a driver and guide with more than 16 years of experience working in Moroccan tourism. Raised in Amizmiz in the High Atlas Mountains, he brings deep local knowledge, a calm presence, and an easygoing style to every journey.

Over the years, Hakim has traveled extensively across Morocco with international guests, from the Atlas and imperial cities to the Sahara and smaller rural communities. He especially enjoys sharing Amazigh culture, mountain life, and the everyday details that help travelers understand the country beyond its best-known sights.

Abderrazak

Abderrazak is a licensed city guide with deep knowledge of Morocco’s history, architecture, traditions, and everyday life. Based in Morocco and experienced in working with international travelers, he brings context and detail to the places guests visit, helping connect historic sites with the communities and stories that continue to shape them today.

His guiding style is thoughtful, informative, and easygoing, with a strong focus on helping travelers understand Morocco beyond the surface. Whether exploring medinas, historic monuments, markets, or neighborhood life, Abderrazak adds the kind of local insight that makes each place feel more meaningful.

Moha

Moha is a local guide with a strong connection to Morocco’s landscapes, villages, and Amazigh culture. Born and raised in Morocco, he especially enjoys guiding travelers through mountain regions, desert landscapes, hidden valleys, and smaller communities.

His approach is calm, friendly, and flexible, with a focus on meaningful encounters, good conversation, and traveling at a comfortable pace. Moha enjoys sharing local traditions, daily life, and the natural beauty of Morocco while adapting each journey to the interests of his guests.

Lahcen

Lahcen is an experienced driver and guide with more than 18 years in Morocco’s tourism sector. He studied English literature at university, developing strong communication skills for working with international travelers, and is known for his professionalism, safe driving, and warm hospitality.

In 2023, Lahcen earned a city and tourist-route certification, strengthening his knowledge of Morocco’s history, culture, and destinations. He brings that experience together with a calm, reliable approach to help each journey run smoothly and feel personal.

Houssaine

Houssaine is Yassine’s brother and has worked in tourism for many years. Based in the Dades Gorge, he helps run the family riad and leads trekking and hiking experiences through the surrounding valleys and mountains.

Warm and easygoing, Houssaine enjoys sharing local life with guests and helping them experience the Dades region at a slower pace and on foot. He is especially focused on making travelers feel comfortable, welcome, and at home.

Noora

Noora is a chef from the Atlas Mountains who now lives in Marrakech. Cooking has been part of her life since childhood, and she especially enjoys preparing traditional Moroccan dishes such as couscous and tagine while sharing the flavors and traditions behind them.

Her approach to cooking is rooted in hospitality, generosity, and connection. Noora loves welcoming guests into the kitchen and creating meals that feel personal, relaxed, and deeply connected to Moroccan home cooking.
