This four-day journey from Marrakech into the Sahara and back is designed as a swift, immersive crossing to one of Morocco’s most remote dune seas. Travel across the High Atlas Mountains, through the ancient earthen village of Ait Ben Haddou, and along the palm-lined Draa Valley before reaching the untouched dunes of Erg Chigaga. The experience focuses on the beauty of the open desert — climbing dunes at sunset, sharing a home-cooked meal and live music around the fire, and waking to sunrise over forty kilometers of untracked sand. Nights are spent in a traditional guesthouse and a desert camp beneath the stars, offering a compact but authentic desert journey for travelers with limited time.
