Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 1, 2026
Amazigh Artisan Tours LLC
United States-Based Tour Operator | Morocco Tours
1. Introduction and Agreement
These Terms & Conditions govern bookings and participation in tours and travel services arranged by Amazigh Artisan Tours LLC, a United States-based tour operator (“Amazigh Artisan Tours,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By making a booking with us, the person making the booking (“Traveler,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to these Terms & Conditions. If you make a booking on behalf of other travelers, you are responsible for providing these Terms to them and confirming that they agree to them.
1. Our Services
Amazigh Artisan Tours LLC organizes and arranges private and small-group travel experiences in Morocco, including:
- multi-day tours and customized itineraries;
- cultural and artisan experiences;
- accommodations;
- local guides;
- transportation;
- desert journeys;
- hiking and trekking experiences;
- cooking and other cultural activities;
- airport transfers; and
- other travel-related services described in individual itineraries.
Amazigh Artisan Tours LLC is a U.S.-based tour operator. Services within Morocco may be performed by an affiliated Moroccan tourist-transportation business operating under the Amazigh Artisan Tours name, as well as by independent hotels, riads, camps, guides, activity providers and other local suppliers.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, these suppliers are separate businesses and are responsible for providing their respective services.
2. Booking and Acceptance
A booking is confirmed only when:
- we have accepted the booking;
- the required deposit or payment has been received; and
- we have issued written confirmation.
We reserve the right to decline a booking before confirmation.
The traveler making the booking must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for providing accurate information for everyone included in the booking.
For a group or family booking, the lead traveler represents that they are authorized to make arrangements on behalf of the other travelers and will provide them with the applicable itinerary, booking information and these Terms.
3. Traveler Information
Travelers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information reasonably required to arrange their trip.
This may include names as shown on passports, contact information, nationality, dietary requirements, accessibility requirements, emergency contacts and other information reasonably necessary to provide the booked services.
Where health or medical information is relevant to the safe delivery of a tour or activity, travelers should provide information that could reasonably affect their participation or require accommodation.
Travelers are responsible for notifying us of material changes before departure.
4. Prices and Payments
Unless otherwise stated, prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD).
A deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required to confirm a booking unless different payment terms are stated in the individual booking confirmation.
The remaining balance is due 60 days before departure.
For bookings made fewer than 60 days before departure, full payment is due at the time the booking is confirmed.
Payments may be made using the methods specified in the booking confirmation, which may include Wise or bank transfer.
Prices are based on the itinerary and services specified in the booking confirmation.
Before a booking is confirmed, prices may change.
After confirmation, we will not increase the price except where a change is necessary because of a significant change in government taxes or fees, extraordinary currency movements, fuel surcharges or another circumstance outside our reasonable control. We will notify affected travelers before collecting any additional amount.
5. What Is Included
Each itinerary or booking confirmation identifies the services included in the tour price.
Unless specifically stated as included, the tour price generally does not include:
- international airfare;
- passports or visas;
- travel insurance;
- personal purchases;
- gratuities;
- meals not listed as included;
- optional activities;
- excess baggage charges; or
- expenses resulting from circumstances outside the booked itinerary.
6. Cancellation by the Traveler
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:
booking@amazighartisantours.com
The following cancellation charges apply unless different terms were expressly agreed to in writing for a particular booking:
| Cancellation received before departure | Cancellation charge |
|---|---|
| More than 90 days | 30% deposit |
| 60–89 days | 50% of total tour price |
| 30–59 days | 75% of total tour price |
| Fewer than 30 days | 100% of total tour price |
The initial 30% deposit is non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.
No refund is normally available for no-shows, voluntary early departure, or unused services after a tour has begun.
Because unexpected events can cause travelers to cancel, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and interruption coverage.
7. Cancellation or Changes by Amazigh Artisan Tours
We may make reasonable changes to an itinerary where necessary because of weather, road conditions, supplier availability, safety considerations, government restrictions, local conditions or other circumstances.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide services of a similar standard where a planned service becomes unavailable.
If we cancel a tour for reasons within our reasonable control before departure, travelers will receive a refund of amounts paid to us for the cancelled tour.
If a tour cannot operate because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, including natural disaster, severe weather, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, epidemic or pandemic, border closure, transportation disruption or similar events (“Force Majeure”), we may offer, depending on the circumstances:
- an alternative itinerary;
- rescheduling;
- a future travel credit; or
- a refund of amounts recoverable from suppliers.
Any refund following a Force Majeure event may exclude reasonable, documented amounts that have already been paid to suppliers and cannot be recovered, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
We are not responsible for consequential expenses such as independently booked airfare, hotels, visas or other arrangements outside the services purchased from us.
8. Passports, Visas and Entry Requirements
Travelers are responsible for ensuring that they meet the passport, visa, immigration, health and entry requirements applicable to their nationality and circumstances.
Entry requirements can change.
Travelers should check requirements with the appropriate government authorities before departure.
For U.S. citizens, current U.S. Department of State guidance states that tourists generally do not require a visa for visits to Morocco of 90 days or less and provides current passport-validity requirements. Travelers should verify current requirements before traveling.
Amazigh Artisan Tours is not responsible for a traveler being denied boarding or entry because of insufficient or incorrect travel documentation.
9. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers.
We recommend coverage that includes, as appropriate:
- trip cancellation and interruption;
- emergency medical treatment;
- emergency evacuation and repatriation;
- baggage and personal belongings;
- travel delays; and
- activities included in the traveler’s itinerary.
Some tours or activities may require evidence of appropriate insurance before participation.
Amazigh Artisan Tours does not act as the traveler’s insurance company and does not guarantee that a particular loss will be covered by any travel-insurance policy.
Travelers are responsible for reviewing and understanding the terms and exclusions of their chosen policy.
10. Health, Fitness and Accessibility
Some tours include walking, uneven surfaces, stairs, heat, altitude, hiking, desert travel or other physical activity.
Travelers are responsible for reviewing the itinerary and determining whether they are reasonably able to participate.
Travelers should consult an appropriate healthcare professional when necessary.
Please tell us before travel about mobility, dietary or other requirements that may materially affect the arrangements we need to make.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee that every destination, accommodation, vehicle or activity in Morocco will be able to provide every requested accommodation.
We may restrict participation in a particular activity where we reasonably believe participation would create a serious safety risk to the traveler or others.
11. Conduct
Travelers must follow reasonable safety instructions provided by guides, drivers and activity providers and comply with applicable Moroccan laws.
We may remove a traveler from an activity or tour where their conduct is seriously disruptive, threatening, unsafe, illegal or materially interferes with the experience or safety of others.
A traveler removed for such conduct is responsible for expenses resulting from their removal and is not automatically entitled to a refund for unused services.
12. Independent and Affiliated Suppliers
We arrange services provided by hotels, riads, camps, guides, restaurants, workshops, transportation providers and other suppliers.
Some services may be provided by an affiliated Moroccan transportation business operating under the Amazigh Artisan Tours name. Other suppliers are independently owned and operated.
Each supplier may have its own operating procedures, safety standards, terms and legal responsibilities.
To the extent permitted by law, Amazigh Artisan Tours LLC is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of suppliers that are outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits responsibility that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
13. Inherent Risks and Assumption of Risk
International travel and participation in tours involve risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
Depending on the itinerary, these may include:
- road travel and vehicle transportation;
- uneven or mountainous terrain;
- hiking or trekking;
- desert conditions;
- heat, cold or changing weather;
- animals used in tourism activities;
- food and water differences;
- illness;
- remote locations;
- limited access to medical facilities; and
- delays or disruptions associated with international travel.
By choosing to participate, travelers acknowledge these ordinary and inherent travel risks and accept responsibility for exercising reasonable care for their own safety.
This section does not waive any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Amazigh Artisan Tours LLC will not be responsible for losses caused solely by:
- circumstances outside our reasonable control;
- a traveler’s own acts or omissions;
- inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the traveler; or
- acts or omissions of independent suppliers for which the law does not impose responsibility on us.
We will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law, including liability that cannot legally be waived or limited.
15. Traveler Responsibility for Damage and Third-Party Claims
Travelers are responsible for damage they intentionally or negligently cause to accommodations, vehicles or other property during their trip.
To the extent permitted by law, a traveler agrees to reimburse Amazigh Artisan Tours for reasonable losses or expenses arising from a third-party claim caused by that traveler’s unlawful conduct, intentional misconduct or material breach of these Terms.
16. Photography and Video
We may occasionally photograph or record tours for promotional purposes.
Travelers may tell us that they do not wish to appear in identifiable promotional photographs or video, and we will make reasonable efforts to respect that choice.
Where required by applicable law, we will obtain consent before using identifiable images for marketing.
A parent or legal guardian must provide any required consent on behalf of a minor.
17. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, text, branding, itineraries, graphics and original content created by Amazigh Artisan Tours LLC are owned by or licensed to the Company and may not be commercially reproduced without permission.
Nothing in these Terms claims ownership of photographs, artwork, trademarks or other material belonging to third parties.
18. Complaints
If a problem arises during a tour, travelers should notify us or the relevant local representative as soon as reasonably possible so that we have an opportunity to address it.
After travel, complaints may be sent to:
booking@amazighartisantours.com
19. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
The parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute directly before beginning formal legal proceedings.
Any forum-selection or dispute-resolution provision in these Terms is subject to rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer law.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Changes apply prospectively and will be posted with an updated effective date.
For an existing confirmed booking, the version of the Terms applicable when the booking was made will generally govern that booking unless a change is required by law or the traveler agrees to the change.
21. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the traveler’s booking confirmation, itinerary and any written terms specifically agreed to for that booking, constitute the agreement relating to the booked services.
If a specific written booking term conflicts with these general Terms, the specifically agreed booking term will control for that booking.
